About me

IMG_1755_edited.jpg

I am currently an Air Pollution Specialist at the California Air Resources Board. I conduct research project management and in-house research to help policymaking about reducing embodied carbon emissions from new constructions.

During 2021-2022, I was a postdoctoral research scholar at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, advised by Dr. Ron L. Miller and funded by the Columbia University Earth Institute postdoctoral fellowship (2021-2023 Fellow).

I earned my Ph.D. (2015-2021) with Professor Jasper F. Kok at the University of California Los Angeles on microphysical and optical properties of dust aerosols. My doctoral research was funded by the Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) fellowship (2019-2021 Fellow).

I am interested in the role of atmospheric aerosols in climate change and mitigation. On this website, you will find information about my past and current research, publications, teaching, and awards.
